Rupert Perry

Rupert Perry is Halo’s Chief Operating Officer and oversees Halo’s FCA compliance and IT needs. He started his career as a chartered accountant at Ernst & Young and has worked in the financial markets since 1994, initially at S G Warburg (now UBS). In 2000, he set-up Pirum, a FinTech start-up focussed on automating operational processes in the global securities finance markets. He served as Pirum’s Chief Executive and Compliance Officer until 2015, when the business was successfully sold to a private equity buyer. Rupert remains involved with Pirum as both a consultant and a non-executive director.
