    Andrew was recruited internally from the UK private client team to help turn around the performance of the global equity product.  The previous five years of poor performance were reversed with positive 3- and 5-year numbers against relevant benchmarks of MSCI World and MSCI All Country.  The team’s assets were doubled rising from US$7bn when he joined to US$14bn in 2012.  Andrew Williamson-Jones was also ‘buy’ rated by a number of investment consultants and involved in marketing to clients across the world.

      Portfolio manager in the UK Private Client team. Lead role in stock selection for the UK private client model portfolio, which dictated which stocks other portfolio managers should own on behalf of their clients.  With a strong track record of out-performance over the three years, leading to the internal move to Global Equity Team.

Buy-side analyst on the Food, Beverage & Tobacco sectors for the UK institutional product. Extel no.1 rated buy-side tobacco analyst.  Very successful track record delivering strong positive alpha, within his sector coverage.

1997-2003 Singer and Friedlander

    Managing UK equity portfolios against the FT All Share benchmark and providing buy-side analysis of the Pharmaceutical and Biotech sectors.

    Qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (now PwC), specialising in the audit of the financial services industry.
